Wine tasting and Wine Pairing

Spain has such a treasure of wines; I truly believe we have nothing to envy any of the other wine areas in the world. There is a wealth of wines that vary completely depending on where we are. Magical sherries from the south, elegant sparkling wines from Catalunya, sweet wines, dry wines, oaked wines, young wines, you name it, they most likely will have it.

With modern day techniques and the fast-growing tendency to sustainable practices, both in the vineyards and the cellars, Spanish wines have fast become a force to reckon with. From smaller family run vineyards to larger wine cellars most wines are produced with loving care and many wine regions boast their own indigenous grapes, many of which are being recovered, studied and re-planted, some of them going way back in history.

The wine tastings consist of 4 or 5 wines that might be from a specific region or a specific grape variety. I always try to provide wines that are different and unique, and we pair them with some tapas that go well with each wine. The sessions last for 2 hours.

Prices vary depending on the wines that we taste.

*There are plans in the near future, to set up a wine club with regular tasting sessions, tasting wines from all over the world and pairing them with the cuisines that best suit them. We will also organize visits to wine cellars and other places of interest such as cheese farms, olive oil producers and others. Please make sure to subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates.
